This last Saturday was a bit of a trip onto the emotions train. I had the emotions of hoping the day would go well yet there were a few road bumps along the way. Starting at 2:34 in the morning.
I had scheduled an early morning engagement session with my geeky and fun spirited clients Korey and Susan. We planned for this weeks before with a just in case solution of shooting the next day if our plans changed due to the recent weather of Michigan. One of course being very hot an humid and two, turbulent thunderstorms as well do to the crazy weather patterns. Yet looking upon the forecast several times the decision to snap the shutter was to be last Saturday.
Next thing I know I have possible future clients from wedding planner Emily Cox, whom I worked with from a previous wedding. Emily’s niece and also helpers Emmaleigh, has an upcoming wedding that in coincidence choose the same wedding venue as my clients Korey and Susan. Emily informed me that Emmaleigh’s fiance Zachery planned to propose on Saturday morning. Very serendipity
So the craziness starts when I woke up early in the morning and had a hard time getting back to sleep. Then the alarm screams at me six in the morning. Yikes! I was supposed to meet them at 5:45 in the morning! As I hop up, get dressed and gather my gear go bag the phone chimes in to let me know I have a new text. “We are here, yet it is still pretty dark. Let us know when you are on your way.” I respond that I am on my way. However a tire had a different idea. More to come.
